I joined Face Book

Sometime ago...like in March of 2009...someone mentioned to me to join Face Book....now the thought had NEVER crossed my mind....here is why...

I am 50.....and I always thought that Face Book was for kids....well, younger girls my daughter's age. And the fact that my daughter said....you are too old for Face Book.

But, I bit the bullet...took the plunge....went for broke and figured...why not???

This is what I found out.....people of all ages, tribes and tongues are on Face Book...go figure. And note to self:.....don't listen to daughter.

Now I spend my days having to force myself away from Face Book....because it is addicting....especially for a WOO like me.....but, that is a horse of another color...another story for another day....and I will write that soon....

well, if I can get off of Face Book long enough to post it!

Fasting

I am going through this great book on Fasting.....I just want to know one thing...why whenever you are reading about fasting....or thinking about fasting....or fasting....the first thing that comes to mind is FOOD???
Did you know that the Bible says in Matthew 6:16&17..."when you fast"...not if you fast...but, "WHEN YOU FAST"....so I am supposing that I should fast....right after I stop thinking about food...
