Good Book....

I just read this amazing book....I first saw this book recommended at this years Women of Faith Conference....I read through this in two sittings as you cannot put the thing down once you start....and it's a true story....and I cried through more than half of my reading....and I am encouraged to work for the Lord in more tangable ways than I have been in the last 10 years....now that's a good book if you ask me....
And here's the really great news....if you are in the SWAN library system here in Illinois....with your local library card you can check it out and read it for FREE....now that's a good deal with a good book....just to warn you....there may be tears involved so bring the tissues, hankies, napkins, whatever....just bring them!!!

Better today....

So far...I have had a better day!!! Good for me....it's been 3 minutes since I got out of bed.....so this a good start...and I am way past the potato episode and am not planning any sequels....I am stressing though about attendance at the launching of TheCall...but, the prayer is and has been that whomever needs to be there....the Lord will bring them there....so I am not going to worry my pretty little head over this....well, doesn't matter if I did....I won't change attendance anyway....

Today I had a plan....I was going to get many things accomplished....unfortunately the best laid plans of mice and men...as the old saying goes.....my day started off with some rotten potatoes.....half a bag of rotten potatoes in fact...that had basically turned into liquid....with little flying bugs all around....in a walk in closet...on top of carpeting....with rotten potato liquid spilling down the front of me and onto my fuzzy slippers.....YUCK....I say....

Thanking the Lord today that last week during the opening of Kohl's....my husband encouraged us to buy a rug shampooer.....top of the line I might add.....good thing....as the Lord knew today I would be dealing with a half of bag of liquid potatoes.....

Well, day one in the Life according to Char on this blog....

Hopefully tomorrow I'll post some better news...
